This is November and yep the year of 2014 are ahead run out. Some people are waiting for christmas and some people made lists of 2014 WordPress Design Trends from beginning of the year up until now. Even the last issue i read, actually watch is WordPress Design Trends by Mel Choyce during the NYC WordCamp November 16th 2014. I note that she explain how flat design is bad for user, the button is problem because we dont know if it is active or not, or if it is “clickable” or not, well i see people are get used to it, dont see this button to be a big deal on flat design issue, nice try.
The list that seems made me engage is the 9 WordPress Design Trends to Look out for in 2014 list from Rachel Adnyana, wpkube which it is updated on October 10th 2014. She predict that the future design is Mobile, app versions of websites.
I agree that mobile apps and responsive design will still alive for next year trend, We just dont know how long this trends will be last even it is already been long enough trend, as it is now 4 years since RWD (Responsive Web Design) was found by Ethan Marcotte. For this, Mashable itself consider the year of 2013 called as the year of Responsive Web Design (RWD).
